Learning together, preparing together: Towards a safe and secure city - Notice of participation in disaster prevention drills


Thank you very much for your continued understanding and cooperation in our neighborhood association activities.

In recent years, large-scale earthquakes have occurred in various parts of the country, including the Kumamoto earthquake, making regional preparedness even more important.

To prepare for any potential disaster, the Akasaka Fire Station will be hosting an interactive disaster prevention fair called "Learn about Disaster Prevention in Aoyama."

We encourage you to take this opportunity to participate in our disaster preparedness drill and prepare yourself to cope when an emergency occurs. We sincerely look forward to your participation.


Event Overview

  • Date and Time : August 30th (Sunday), 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Venue : Nono Aoyama and other locations (see below for venue map)

  • Meeting place : Akiba Shrine, meeting time: 9:15 AM

  • Training content : VR disaster prevention experience vehicle, earthquake simulator, smoke simulation house, etc. / Apartment building disaster prevention measures, electric shock circuit breaker, etc.

  • Participating organizations : Akasaka Fire Station, Akasaka District General Branch Office, Akasaka Fire Prevention and Disaster Prevention Association, Aoyama District Disaster Prevention Council, Akasaka Fire Brigade, various neighborhood associations, and shopping associations.


Venue Information (Experience Booths)

Nono Aoyama area

  1. Initial fire extinguishing training: Even young children can participate in water discharge training.

  2. Standpipe Experience: Try out the water-spraying equipment used during earthquakes and other disasters.

  3. Smoke Experience House: Experience realistic smoke


Kita-Aoyama 3-chome apartment area

4. VR Disaster Prevention Experience Vehicle: Experience a realistic disaster (Available for elementary school students and older)

5. Earthquake simulator experience: Learn how to protect yourself from earthquake tremors.


World Kita-Aoyama area

6. Public Relations Booth: Apartment Building Disaster Prevention Measures, Electric Shock Circuit Breakers, etc.

7. First Aid Training: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED Use
