Regarding the implementation of the Spring National Traffic Safety Campaign in 2026

To all members of the community, thank you very much for your continued understanding and cooperation in our neighborhood association's activities.

As in previous years, the "National Spring Traffic Safety Campaign" will be held nationwide for 10 days, from Monday, April 6th to Wednesday, April 15th, 2026. Spring is a time when the number of pedestrians increases, with new schoolchildren and new employees using unfamiliar roads. In order to reduce the number of deaths and injuries from traffic accidents and to promote the creation of a safe and secure town, our neighborhood association will work together with the community to promote this campaign.

🌸 Key points for exercise

  1. Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, especially children: Ensuring that vehicles stop completely at crosswalks and providing guidance to children on safe road crossings.

  2. Thoroughly implement pedestrian priority awareness and encourage considerate and courteous driving.

Eradicating the use of smartphones while driving, checking for safety at intersections, and turning on headlights early.

  3. Wear a helmet and follow traffic rules when riding a bicycle or a small motorized bicycle.

Encouraging the wearing of helmets when cycling (a recommended practice), and ensuring compliance with traffic signals and riding on the left side of the road.

🛡️ Initiatives within the neighborhood association

  • Traffic safety patrols are conducted to monitor new first-graders and other children during their commutes to and from school, and to raise safety awareness among the elderly, thereby preventing accidents throughout the community.

  • We will strengthen our public relations activities by posting posters on bulletin boards and distributing leaflets to raise awareness of traffic safety.

🤝 A request to everyone

  • Let's review traffic rules . Pedestrians and drivers alike should follow the rules, and be especially considerate of others in narrow alleys and intersections.

  • Please be proactive in speaking to and warning children who are crossing the road dangerously or who appear unfamiliar with the area.

In conclusion

Traffic accidents can result from a moment of carelessness, leading to irreversible consequences.

Let's all take part in traffic safety and work together as a community to create a safe and secure town, so that we can enjoy the new season with smiles on our faces.

We sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Auspicious day of April 2020
